I don't know about the holster, but the stock and pistol appear to be belgian army prewar issue. The standard issue holster would have been attached to the stock using the holes present there. I believe the "H" in the circle, "Crown over PH" in the oval are the Belgian Military proofs.

Thank You for the reply....It is a well made gun!!!...not as nice as a Luger though!!

The crown over PH is one of the markings. There should be another crown over either ME or PH, perhaps on the trigger guard. (These markings changed with time. The ones after these were "AC" and "GC". These and the "H" in a circle or a "C" in a square are the belgian military markings.
The stock originally had a holster attached as is witnessed by the holes. Originally, the stocks used with these holsters did not have the holes. Are there any markings on the stock? The holster is like one I have, only in better condition. Some of the holsters had the serial number of the pistol added below the AC39. I wish I hade seen it as I would like to have upgraded mine. The holsters were accompanied by a magazine pouch that could hold two magazines. The pouches were numbered in the same fashion as the holsters. |
