HK 93 Disassembly

I have been searching the Internet for takedown instructions for an HK 93 which can be downloaded, with no luck. Can anyone recommend such a site?

Easy... You have me.

1. slide the bolt carrier to it's foward position.

2. Remove stock pin, which will allow you to remove stock by pulling it off.

3. By pushing downard and forward on the pistol grip, you will remove the trigger pack(age).

4. Drop out bolt and bolt carrier assembly, by tilting upward the weapon.

Re-assembly is in reverse order.

Note: Unless the firing pin is broken, there is no need do break down this weapon further for routine cleaning.

You may e-mail me at glen_crookston@comcast.net if you have any issues. I will be glad to address any problems or questions you might have.

Oh these are my favorites. Have you also tried www.hkpro.com ?

I love these little guns too... hkpro.com is a great site.

Here's my 93sg1

Thanks for the instructions, they will have to do. Went to a gun show yesterday looking for a manual. All I could find was a poorly done home made pamphlet with photos so bad you couldn't make out anything. These ten page pamphlets were offered for $7. I did not buy one.

manuals are available from www.calssportingarmory.com

i have a hk91 also had a mp5sd taking the bolt apart can be a real nightmare

If you use break cleaner and then a good oil/lubricant (like clp), you shouldn't have cause to take the bolt apart.

Harsh chemicals and Hk's don't mix too well. Taking the bolt head apart from the bolt carrier is not that bad once you're used to it. You'll eventually get the little tricks to it and they will come apart fine. I know, I've got several of these & I just had to find the little spots where they come apart and put together easy.

Minigun right. I have a HK-91, stripping the bolt is not too bad after you have done it several times. It helps to depress the back of the bolt lock when you turn the bolt body back into position. Also, make sure that you are setting it in the unlocked position.

Lock and Load! :D

Just came back from the range with a Beta C Mag dump. That was totally cool. 100 rounds without having to reload (not a hicup with this German craftsmanship). After blasting away I loaded up a 25rd'er and a 40rd mag. What a difference in weight and the cummbersome feel of the Beta Mag wasn't there.

Now, I have to clean it. Whew! Hk's get real dirty inside.

Michigan Gunner, never thought about trying to depress the back of the locking device on the bolt carrier. I'll try that trick on this clean up. Thanks..... <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" />
