Saddam's Money (Gun Related)
 

Here is a picture I received from a friend via e-mail. It reportedly came from a friend who received these pictures from Iraq. There are numerous pictures and they were taken when Saddam was captured. This one shows four 4th ID soldiers with the case holding Saddam's US Dollars.

More interesting to me is the rig being worn by the Colonel who apparently knows something about handguns. The shoulder holster contains a 1911A1 being carried cocked-and-locked. The good Colonel seems to put more faith in it than the M-9 and I bow to his wisdom. It's unlikely to be an issue pistol and I suppose the Colonel has sufficient rank to carry whatever he deems appropriate. Wise choice, IMO.
