Russ, Thanks! Guess where I got the 1915 DWM. Walked into Baron's Den to get a holster for my HK P7M8. Walt says look what just came in. I said how much? He said $600.00, I said sold! Came in the E.German holster w/WWI tool. Then I got to go into the "VAULT" and browse. Man! What a candy store. Not many people are allowed in the vault. I made the big time. He sold me the Belgian HP holster too.

Check your P.M.

Thanks Pete, I've got one like it at Jerry's right now. Some guy walked into a local gun shop a few years ago. And ask if anybody knew how he could cut it down to make a holster for his American Derringer. He had already ripped out the stitching. I bought an Uncle Mikes out of the $5&$10 bin that would work, and traded him. I did'nt even know what it was for at the time. Just thought it was a waste. Jerry's going to make it new again, when he's up and around. What do need, are the correct holsters for the 1934 Mauser Scandinavian and Kriegsmodell.

Hey Ron, that's one heck of a start!! While I am sort of biased toward the Lugers and P.38s, I always think if it weren't for them I would have collected Hi Powers. That's a real beauty of a Lithuanian!! Congrats!!

Steve Richards 04-23-2004 02:12 AM

I like your little Astra! One is high on my wish list. I now have a 400 Chilean Navy and a German Police 600.

I was in Philomath a couple of weeks ago and I thought that I saw an HP holster/stock in the window (the gunshop was closed).

Thanks, It's an exspensive hobby. But somebody has to do it.
Steve, if you happen by the shop again. I would be interested in the stock.
Thanks Frank, I originally bought it as Luger trading stock or for re-sale. But fell in love with it after I got it home. Think I'll probably keep it.

Hey Ron, I'm glad you know a keeper when you see one!! :D

Ron Smith 04-28-2004 02:55 PM

Frank, I have since seen one other for sale and heard of another. Both were priced at more than half again, what I paid. Whether they sold for that, I can't say. It's retirement insurance I can enjoy.

Ron,

I am not able to get to Philomath when the shop is open. But their website is: http://www.guns4sale.net/

What I saw may not even be available still and I cannot guarentee the it is for an HP. It just looked like one through the window.

Good luck!. I have no connection to the shop.

Ron Smith 05-10-2004 05:29 PM

Robert, Damn! Is there anything you don't have?
I don't really need it. The Lithuanian is'nt waffen marked. Besides that, I've got it on GB, up for auction. If I get lucky, I can buy somemore of your Lugers.(need more Lugers). I'm addicted! Are you home yet?

Robert, Just caught on to your signature moto. I get it now. I worked as a bouncer and bartender for several years. I'd like to do it again. (If I was 20 yrs younger.)
