Potland Gun Show Report--December

A few Lugers this weekend.

1916 DMW, bread-and-butter gun $650
1918 buffed&blued $550

1937 Krieghoff, reblued, two mags, Genschow holster with WaA387, $2,500

Jerry Kramer is down to five guns to sell from the collection he acquired:
Pacific Arms Commercial 6" barrrel, $4,995
1906 M2 Portuguese, $2,695
1929 Berne $3,195
Mauser Banner Commercial Swiss, $3,695
Commercial Artillery, $2,795
drum mag loading tool, $1,095
Portuguese holster, &175

1937 S/42 reblue $600
1917 total mismatch, sear safety, clipped mag safety (no unit mark), $450

1917/1920, $875
1939 42 $950
DWM Imperial military Swiss rework $1,250

"Special" gun of the show, a 1906 Navy, first issue altered; flat-side steel soldered to the top of the barrel to add mass and sight ridge, heavily engraved overall, two navy mags, case, $3,900. Its a really well-done job, too bad about the Luger.

That was it.

Dwight,

You forgot to mention the miniatures! There were two cased miniatures that would be nice to have. The navy was complete with a stcok/holster. The arty just had the holster unless the stock was out of sight.

Very interesting.

Howard and Ed, Actually it probably is "Pot-Land."

Steve Richards 12-31-2004 02:39 AM

Ron,

You are probably right but you live closer to the main growing areas in this state. It is just a sideline in the Portland area but keeps the ecconomy going in the southern parts of the state. That puts you in the middle!

Steve
