Re: Factory Mauser Sport Parabellum
Hi Rick & Dok! There wer only 10 of each, 9mm & .30,....(.30 had slab side barrel) made by Mauser, they were not hot sellers then, probably impossible to find now! till...later...G.T.

Re: Factory Target?
I still am amazed that they never added adjustable sights to the carbines and navys. Only the early artillery had any adjustments for windage and load strength, but even that system was difficult to operate in the field from what I have seen of it.
On a pistol as inherently accurate as the Luger, a rear, adjustable sight makes a lot of sense for any model intended to shoot beyond the 100 yard mark. Mauser has used one solution, but I feel a modification of the navy rear sight would be more attractive and practical. Just my 2 cents...FGR |
Re: Factory Target?
Hi Frank! I agree! The Navy sight profile seems to have a following all it's own....a different notch and a windage adj. and it would be spectacular!! Till...later...G.T.

Re: Factory Mauser Sport Parabellum
I actually know one owner of one, never seen the gun but he told me he got one.
I have shoot with my luger for 5-10000rounds something as I am a very active competitionshoooter and I am very satisfied with the solution so its by no way impossilble. REgards HÃ?Â¥kan http://www.vapebsmedjan.com |
Re: OT Factory targets
For anyone who's looking, I do have original Mauser Parabellum & Walther (P38,PP,PPK,etc) unused FACTORY TARGETS to go with your boxed pistol @$1 each. You'll have to shoot the holes yourself and write serial number, model, and caliber in the appropriate blanks.
