Help with P.08 holster I.D.

I'm stumped. I have this old P.08/Luger police holster and I haven't yet found another holster or pic on the internet that looks like this one so I'm calling on the experts for help.

It's a brown hardshell holster with no STAMPED maker identification marks. It utilizes a top-hinged leather strap and post instead of a buckle.

It is inked in 2 places with some information in fractur, so I may have made a mistake or 3 with deciphering the fractur. I do recognize the shutzpolizei as a police agency but nothing further. I think it might have started out life as a 1930's commercial holster that was either purchased or impressed into service as a police holster, but that's just my best guess.

Here's the inking below. Anyone know what I have here? Pics attached. Thanks for any help.

I can't see the closure stud area well enough but I suspect it was once a buckle closure and the holster was modified.

Thanks, Jerry:
I think you are correct. Closer inspection around both the stud and strap stitching reveals holes where previous stitching was. Appreciate the help.

I have also a holster like yours and it is not altered. My is from Schutzpolizei Danzig, 1 Lehrabteilung. Yours is the second holster from this type. It is rare.

Thank you, Klaus. Yours does look very similar to mine. There are no markings on the outside of yours?

Also, Google Translate says that "Lehrabteilung" means "Teaching Department". Does that mean "Military Training"? I believe that what I thought was sebrabiellung (in Fractur) on the inside flap is probably Lehrabteilung, but I really don't know for sure

Hi Bob, I add some more pics to show you that my holster is inked in 2 places too. It also does not have a marker stamp. Both hoslters are of the same Police shool and the same teaching department. think it was made in the early 1920 and it seems to be one of the earliest Police holsters I know to exist. The inkstamp is Schutzpolizeischule 2. Lehrabteilung, about constabulary shool, teaching department. The police of these days has had for example machinguns and stickgrenades and the police men were training in a military kind too. Sorry for my poor English.
I think that holsters and other equipment of police shools are rare.
Would you be so kind and send me some pice of your holster to grafschaft@gmx.de
Thanks a lot

Thank you Klaus for being so helpful. Your English is fine. I should have thought of Police School or Constabulary School, not Military School, when I read your translation.

My holster and your holster are very similar. The only big difference I see is that the leather closing strap on your holster is longer than the one on my holster.

I will be out of town for a few days but I will be happy to send you some pics sometime in the next 10 days. Thank you again for all your good information.
