Interesting shooting position.
I wonder if she hit the bullseye?

Saw that. I'm wondering if that is actually a Glisenti...

I wasn't going to say anything cause I'm not sure but that barrel looks out of porportion to the frame. I was thinking Lahti ot Nambu, probably yhe former.

Re: Interesting shooting position.
I think it is a "Papa" Nambu.

Re: Vintage Luger Lady Photo on E-Bay...
Looking at my deact Lahti, a machine built like the Brooklyn Bridge, and rather like a Luger on steroids [see Thor's makeover earlier this year] I'm more inclined to the rather weedy Glisenti that has just fired and has the breech block returning to the closed position - if you look carefully you might detect the empty case in the air about two feet aboe the barrel........

It does resemble the Gilsenti, except I dont see the little nob that sticks out from the front of the frame between the trigger guard and the bottom of the barrel. I think it is a small trigger guard type 14 Nambu. The trigger guard just doesnt look like anything else to me. Thor

I think it is an air-gun of the same vintage..

John..Is this the one you are thinking of? (EOM)
I am searching my hoto archive to see if I can find something like it.
I haven't found a good photo of a Gilsenti (sp?) yet either... It definitely is NOT a Luger or a Lahti... they don't have a gap between the breechblock and the chamber when fired as seen in this photo from this angle... A Papa Nambu is also a possiblity but I am still checking... -John |
