Prototype Luger Stock
6 Attachment(s)
Anyone seen or heard of a Luger Stock like this? If so, who, what, when, where and why please. Listed for sale on the Web:
https://www.ww2collectorsworld.com/f...tock-prototype GERMANY. LUGER STOCK PROTOTYPE $500.00 Constructed of leather over a wood frame. Stamped on the front edge “P08” “Herich” “2811”. Pinching the claw opens the mechanism to grip the Luger lug. Incredible piece of history. |
Nothing prototype about it.
Looks like a home made device to me. |
independent maker for commercial usage by hunters + gamekeepers

Probably a one-off hand made item. I think Robert (schutzen-jager) pretty much has the right idea.

This lobster claw device would grip the stock lug very poorly IMO.

Jerry, kind of like these stocks that don't actually attach, but you can hold it all steady, as long as you keep a grip on it.

Scary!
