A new number for the database...thank you! I have recorded 6091 and 6099 on either side of it. That brings the total number of reported "Under Range" pieces to 30.

And a new toggle train?

I think this gun was blued with a torch flame after the over-buffing. :(

I think you are close. Perhaps heated with a torch, then cold blue applied. Kinda sad.

The whole upper looks to be #6161 which is in range. You have to look at several different pictures taken at different angles. Maybe the frame/lower was in the trials also... who knows?

Ron Wood 02-16-2021 08:44 PM

Mike,
Good eye! Number 6161 is lower than the lowest Bannerman purchase piece, #6167, so there is no guarantee it was in the trials, but the odds are good that it was. Thanks for spotting!

Ron,
Is #6161 also a new number for the database?

Ron Wood 02-16-2021 11:18 PM

Yes, it is...double hit! :)

Heinz 02-17-2021 09:01 AM

So you could buy this one in the hopes that 6161 lower will turn up with the 6095 upper? Post on GB you are looking for it and someone will make it :-)
