When I clicked on this link, my browser threw up a warning page about this site's credentials. I believe it to be, for one reason or another, on some sort of "naughty list". So I'll wait for a braver soul to be the first. If we get further comments from some who have not been hacked as a result of visiting there, I will definitely check it out.

If anyone is naughty its me! I just tried it and it worked! Give another kick and if you still can't get we can try something else in the morning!

I just tried down loading the index but it freezes!! Its definitly the site!

I run McAfee and see the warning: "There is a problem with this website’s security certificate."
" The security certificate presented by this website was issued for a different website's address.

Security certificate problems may indicate an attempt to fool you or intercept any data you send to the server. "

I had my machine trashed going to "Rifle Action Work" gunsmithing site. I wouldn't dare go to that link. Someone may have hijacked the legitimate site and load your machine with a Trojan as you pass thru, and you might not even know about it for weeks, or it turns you into Typhoid Mary

My Luck. Can I remove the source? What do you suggest!

It is best if you know the site.

This warning is very common in the gov't world, because they share security certs.

can be fine, can be bad.

Eric, find something else fun :)

Too bad, sounds like an interesting site, and one that I would like to have been able to access.

According to McAfee, a malicious intruder replaced the I/p of SAW with theirs, which takes you thru there malware before you get to the intended site.

The answer to this question is 'how good is your antivirus?' and 'are you current with latest MS patches?'
Your machine could have blocked any infection, hopefully. The host webpage provider may have scrubbed the offending malware from the SAW webpage by now. There are lots of variables here. I had to reload my o/s to recover, which reinforced the point that you should always have a restore point and I didn't. A restore point can be most helpful to get you back on the air.

When I attempt to go directly to "www.smallarmsoftheworld.com", McAfee goes berserk. I would avoid that webpage like the plague.

Try this webpage: https://www.smallarmsreview.com/

About "snaildrums", that something pretty difficult to find at a reasonable price, the one pictured herebelow would cost more or less the equivalent of about USD 1,200.00
