The Parabellum is back web site

Dear Fellows,
We have published the new web site:

www.theparabellumisback.com

This web site is entitled to support the new book “The Parabellum is Back! 1945 – 2000” Gerben and I have just finished writing.

According to Brad Simpson the book will be available in November.

For the moment is simply summarizing the book content and in the future will be updated with new information, finds, improvements....

In this way, coupling the book with the web site, we will provide always the last new information about this intriguing period of the Parabellum history.

I hope you appreciate the effort Gerben and I implement in this research.

Have a look and let me know if you like it...

Have fun,
Mauro

Site looks good! I like it!

I am curious...On the "Book Abstract" page, there is a pic of an Artillery and a Navy Luger...with the caption -

Post WWII
Parabellum
Top Artillery model
produced under French
control from1945...

Is that correct??? The French made artillery's in 1945???

I'm going to have to refine my Searches on GunBroker...I want one of those!!! :)

Rich,

You would probably have better luck winning the Lottery. Mauro's got some stuff that is unbelievable.

A sneak preview of the first books!

bradsimpson 10-22-2010 02:04 PM

The book shown above is one of the first Standard Editions off the line. Mauro, Gerben, & I are having advance copies air mailed to us. Mine was shipped today.

The dust jackets are not finished yet. The text is black foil, the guns are spot U.V. laminated, and both are embossed. All of this adds time to production.

I spared no expense in the production of this book, and the extra details are making production run a little longer. If they ship in the next couple of weeks, we should have books in early December.

The quality of the final product will make the wait worth it. I should have a sample at Tulsa.

When the book is available, let us know how to order it and for how much. I know that good books are not cheap but they are well worth the cost and I am sure this one will be worthwhile.

One can NEVER have too many books. Guttenburg made the greatest invention in history!

Steve

bradsimpson 10-28-2010 12:54 PM

Thanks Steve!

We'll start taking pre-orders in the next couple weeks.

The book will only be $84.95 for the Standard Edition. I think this is a very reasonable price for a 560 page hardbound book printed in full color. If anything, I may have under-priced it?

But I gotta keep the current economy in mind.

mauro 10-28-2010 12:57 PM

Steve,
In addition to what Brad wrote, you know that we set up a specific web site:

http://www.theparabellumisback.com

that supports the book.

A specific page will be also available to explain how to order the book.

Cheers,
Mauro

I now have a Standard Edition and a Deluxe Edition with dust jackets. They look absolutely fantastic!

I'll try to post some pics ASAP.

Here's another photo from the printer's.

The real thing is much more beautiful than the photo can show. Raised lettering on the dust jacket, and high gloss guns on a matte gloss surface look really stunning!

This Book Looks Fantastic!
