1937 dated krieghoff

IN 1968 AT THE PEORIA, ILL GUN SHOW I PURCHASED A 1937 KRIEGHOFF SERIAL NUMBER 10000 FOR $450.
IT ENDED UP IN RALPH'S COLLECTION AT THE OGCA GUN SHOW IN ABOUT 1971/2.
ANYONE HAVE ANY INFO ON THE WHEREABOUTS OF THIS LUGER?

Did you check Tom Whitemans krieghoff listing?

Hi Fred , Here's the link to Tom Whiteman's list. Krieghoff #10000 is not listed, so it's unlikely to belong to a forum member.

That's quite a mystery...How did this Luger end up in Ralph's collection??? Was it lost, stolen, loaned & never returned, shown in an exhibit & forgotten, stupidly lost in a drunken card game (hey - we've all been there!), or perhaps thrown off a dock into a deep lake... :confused:

I suppose we'll never know, now that Ralph is gone... :(
