1921 DWM Unit Marking ID?

Can someone please shed some light on the front strap markings on a Luger?

6./J.R.6.5. There is also a 6.5. on the rear of the frame

Thanks very much

So, after a little bit of research I think I've got a timeline that this Luger may (or may not) have followed:

1921-1934: 2nd Reichswehr Division, 6th Infantry Regiment. Headquartered in Stettin.

1934-1937: Renamed as the 2nd Heer Infantry Division. Still in Stettin.

1937 (Oct): Renamed as the 2nd Motorized Infantry Div.

1939: Combat in Poland

1940: Combat in France

1941 (Jan): Renamed as the 12th Panzer Div. Sent to Eastern Front. Combat in Minsk, Leningrad, Kursk, and others.

1945 (May): Surrendered to the Russians. Kurland, Latvia

Obviously I have no idea if the pistol actually travelled to all these places, but the unit it was assigned to was all over the place

1. Post some pictures, it may be able to help us determine which of those battles it may have seen. Russian Capture Lugers have some distinguishing features on them.
2. Stettin is German (Even the Polish Government recently admitted that it was stolen from germany after WW2)

Good catch! Yes, Stettin is a German seaport.

My father was from Stettin. In my eyes it will ALWAYS BE GERMAN
