One of the gentlemen on the board says its a Portuguese contract luger holster. is there any value in these?

Gary..Portuguese contract luger holster is exactly what it is. Nice holsters but not on the high dollar value scale. Not many Portuguese pistols floating around..Collectors don;t pay too much attention or dollars for this type. Plus there are a lot of them available.

Thanks friend

Its a very nice well made piece. Though I seriously doubt given the likelihood my P08 is a Russian capture it was ever part of the Portuguese army. Has to be 1 or 2 holsters down from original

appears you have the cleaning tool and something hiding under that flap....the condition is good...so, the guys at the range admiring your rig aren't going to check the pedigree of your holster...they will just drool and hope you invite them to pop-off a few rounds....enjoy what you have...good shooting....tom

The wildest part is when people see the holster at the range the looks start and given its a flap holster they know its military. it seems to be 50/50 they expect a p38 or the p08

Now you need a 1900 or '06 style pistol to fit the holster, and another holster for the 4" Russian capture gun!
