How to Add an Avatar

Here is what to do (print this out, it'll be easier).

Use a smaller picture (about 160x160 pixels) and then save it to your C: drive

Then look upper right corner of the luger forum;

Click o:

MY PROFILE

Then look for EDIT OPTIONS

Click on that

Go down to the bottom of the screen, you will see

Avatar

Click on CHANGE Avatar

Go to the bottom of the screen you will see;

You can upload an avatar from your computer:

Click on BROWSE

Then browse to where you saved the picture I emailed back to you, choose it and click on OPEN

This will take you back to the bottom of the screen and click on SUBMIT MODIFICATIONS

It should now work / show up in all your postings

Ed,
I've seen Cheetah help Tarzan get out of a lot of jams, but I didn't see that episode.

I borrowed it from another site' member, figured this was apropo :D

Somehow the cheetah reminds me of the robot girls in Austin Powers 'The Spy Who Shagged Me', just without the boobs ..and the well shaped curves..

Hmm.. now I can't see the similarity anymore. But it's a nice one Ed:)

I tried to upload an animated .gif file once, but it was too big I think. Is there a defined max size?

Edward Tinker 01-08-2008 09:22 AM

yes, just like photos, except smaller.

go to your resize part of your picture program and look at pixels instead of inches or milimeters as the times each side.

so it'd say, pixel x pixels for size, then make it 160x160, the one I did for my friend the other day was 157x140

BUT, when you go to resize a .gif file, it has to be by the right program, or the animation part won't work again. Even though smaller, there are actually multiple images stacked on top of each other, so size adds up quick.
