Mauser "Marine" Erinnerungsmodell

Hello!

How much would you estimate the worth of a ( if description is correct ) nearly NIB "Mauser Parabellum Erinnerungsmodell Marine".

150 mm Barrel, 2 pos sight, cutout for shoulder stock, original box, book, tool, 2 mags, brass cleaning rod, factory sight in target.

"maybe not or only minimal shot".

Made in the 70īs.

Please: your opinion on it, and on the value of it?

TIA, Hermann

If it's as spiffy as they say, you would start at perhaps $1.5k. I think this configuration is fairly scarce, what with the real navy-style rear sight and stock lug. And navies in the original Luger world are very desirable...so this could very well bring lots more. We'd love to see some pics.

Thanks!

It will cost me more ... but I am willing to pay, if gun is as described.

Itīs not mine, yet!

Iīll keep you posted!

Hi Hermann, The Mauser Luger commemoratives are desirable and expensive, the Navy especially so. They sell for about $4,000.00 here in the U.S.

Norm, you certainly confirmed my suspicions about price. I've seen the commemoratives at Simpson's site, and they were pricey, for sure, but beautiful guns. Can't wait for pics of this one, it should be nice!

Would someone pls tell me: where there different shoulder stock notches?

Or the Marine the same as a regular 08?

How ( from what direction ) does one add the stock?

What to take care of to not scratch something?

TIA, Hermann

The stock notches are the same for all Lugers. There were slight differences in machining for the various manufacturers. The stock is attached by placing it below the gun and sliding/rotating it up until the locking lever can be turned. The modern 1970s guns, like yours may be made with slightly different dimensions than an earlier original gun, so stocks may not be interchangeable...but I do not know for sure.

I bet at the auction there are additional costs for the buyer. They usually are.

If not, I have no Problem with € 100 more ... I am happy I have mine. Just cleaning it ... canīt wait to shoot it!
