.45 Carbine

Sure would like to know the serial number to it! Can you imagine owning something like this in total anonymity?

Frank 04-29-2002 12:46 PM

Oh, yes I forgot I would not tell!! That's up to RES !!!

Greg 04-29-2002 12:50 PM

No No No I fell for it again!!! :D (EOM)

John Sabato 04-29-2002 04:18 PM

Not ME! I knew he didn't have it... :)

because if he did he would have posted it in his first posting with the photos...

besides after falling for Frank's gag, I was a little wary of a followup post by Ed...

I'll bet he was so excited to handle it and photograph it, the serial number probably never crossed his mind until after he left!

What Say you Mr. Tinker??

Got a number?

-regards, John S.

66mustang 04-29-2002 04:53 PM

Yep, it matches, the mag, the stock, the gun, blah

blah, and if Frank feels he shouldn't say, I probably shouldn't either. and you are right, I was so excited I forgot to look and then I made a comment and Ralph said, oh and such a low serial number too. So, if Ralph says its okay, I'd say something, but since it is being researched...

Ed

Brandon Metcalf 04-29-2002 05:09 PM

That was a dirty trick!

I almost fainted thinking I was about to know the serial # of a original .45 carbine! A Dirty Dirty Trick Indeed! Naw I can see your concern Ralph might not like the # being revealed! Your doing the right thing!

Best Regards,Brandon

P.S. You two have got it coming next April fools day! Not even The Shadow knows what I'll do hehehehehe!

Re: .45 Carbine

Guys, I spoke to Ralph today, the serial number is #21, yes #21! What does that imply? This apparently genuine article may have been made to woo the powers to be to accept the 45 Luger in 1907. It definitely appears genuine, ask 66 Mustang and see the pictures he posted.

Frank 04-29-2002 08:46 PM

Or was it 22 !!!! :D (EOM)

Brandon Metcalf 04-29-2002 08:49 PM

Don't Start that again..I still need medication </strong
