1937 Krieghoff, s/n 9287, w/matching mag

This particular Krieghoff 1937, s/n 9287 was mentioned on the forum some years ago. Recently, I responded that by coincidence, I purchased that same K-1937 on the same day as the forum post, 10/20/05. I wanted to get back with some pictures of s/n 9287 in a new thread. I kept the pictures to 15 with emphasis on major parts with stampings. Oddly, the take down lever not only has "87" stamped on exterior, but also on the inside flat of the part. Gun has a mint bore and came with a very nice 1937 WaA387 Genschow & Co Berlin holster.

Ray, it's far far from professional, but thanks for the comment. First, I take the pictures outside, about 2:00-2:30pm is the best time for strong indirect sun at my location. For close up shots, hold camera phone above the object about 1', zoom camera in, and then lower toward the object until it's framed as desired.
Good discussions on picture taking can be found in the "Discussion Forums". Sticky: How to take pics of guns & small items. Sticky: Luger photography, Norm's way. Good stuff in these two. |
Your mag E2 is not a real common one but it does have friends.
Nice gun:thumbup: Inside and outside numbers is not normal but is not unique by any means. Had enough of trying to load pics but mags 8398 and 8562 are same E2. Long forgotten thread by me on the other site has many HK mag pics. ADDIND is the hold- open numbered on the side? |
