I have been unable to establish if David is still alive but his son Zavie is and he continues making miniatures in his fathers footsteps ... a very talented family.

I did meet David and Zavie a few years ago at the Baltimore, MD gunshow.

Do they fire ammo, what caliber?

Truly amazing craftsmanship, no--artistry. I am in awe.

There is no live ammunition available for this miniature.

I would love to own these impressive pieces of art.

I was at Reno or Louisville and a guy specialized in these (assume same craftsman) and he had a number of different guns on his table, all small. they were expensive, but very nice.

I collect miniatures. This Luger is a recent addition.
