I was wondering if Nazi proofs ever appeared on Krieghoff lugers and if not why not? There are unique inspection markings and dedicated nazi handbooks~
|
Those are Luftwaffe inspector markings/proof.
Who knows if the stamps were "nazi" or not. The Luftwaffe dates to the period of the "Third Reich". |
yes, of course they are Nazi - they are just the Krieghoff inspector marking who was a german - and working for the nazi regime
|
Thank You~ Great Point!!!

If the question is about swastikas on HK Lugers the answer is NO .

I noticed in Jans' Third Reich the following~ Page 13~
|
Pretty clear he is not talking about HK's here .
|
Thank You, no neither was I~Jan refers to Army test proofs~ "P08 Military"
|
That is ironic. There is no Luger more NAZI than the Krieghoff. Snatched from Simson because they were Jews. Buddy Luftwaffe contract because of Goering (maybe he wasn't a NAZI afterall.).

I am watching a documentary on Stalin and Hitler. Both were some of the worse criminal in mankind. I think the nut job in North Korea is going to come in third!!!! The problem the is often no one to stand up to internally. Tragic. Not much has changed! An ally can become an enemy in the blink of an eye! Strong military and leaders are the sole solution or hope! Lugers played a large part in history. It tool the pull of a trigger to start one world war and the push of another to end another world war!! A lot depends upon whose finger is first on the trigger!

If you are serious about this you need to do a serious fact check on this.

Start with pages 14-15 in Gibsons book .
Been a student of HK's for a long time and never heard this before . Maybe the accuser should offer some facts ? Quote:

I do have Gibson's book, but many don't- so would you mind summarizing your take on this?

Prince Ferdinand assasination started the first world war and the dropping of the atomic bombs ended the second! http://historythings.com/archduke-franz-ferdinand/

As I recall Heinrich Kreighoff was interviewed after the war at which time he stated that he had not been an "enthusiastic Nazi". This is something of a joke as you would be hard put, in post-war Germany, to find anyone who admitted to having been one.

We are definitely all free to form our own opinions .
To be clear I am no fan of the NSDAP or what they did . I actually like the lack of swastikas on HK Lugers . My issue here is I have never seen any documentation of the HK firm having anything to do with the demise of Simson . The NSDAP is guilty of it IMHO . Quote:

HK didn't directly took party in the demise of Simson, but they sure took profit from it. |
