1936 Date Krieghoff Magazine
I got in a 1916 DWM for restoration and it had in the Luger a Krieghoff marked magazine in the 76xx serial range. Chrome plated slate cut bottom aluminum bottom with the Eagle over 2 stamp on the bottom of it. I would like to tell my client "your magazine is worth approximately _____ dollars but I have no clue. Condition is very very good to excellent. Thanks PS I gave him the info on what type of magazine would be correct for his DWM. I have no idea if he will just keep this one or not. I believe it would have been issued with a 1936 Krieghoff Luger.

Ted, Do you have any pics? You might mention a trade..for a proper 1916 type wood bottom mag. What's his serial no. on the 1916. I can check my list of wood mags.

There are 5 1936 Krieghoffs recorded above 7600 out of over 215 1936 recorded.
So most likely a 1937. Bob |

You made a definitive statement that it was for a 1937, and I merely said: "Or a 1936". What's the problem?? There are also 1936's in the 8XXX and 9XXX ranges recorded. As everyone knows, HK was NOTORIOUSLY bad at inventory management. |
Jerry , see you PMs

Ted, I will see your PM's and raise you an email! No Pm's I can find...
|
okay, I resent it today, hope you can see it

Ted, OK! Thanks..I guess that ship has sailed...
