Very nice

1028a is an anomaly ref the single E6, although 1014a is marked the same and a couple of others.

0836a E6 E
0846a E6 E
0863a E6 E
0874a e6 E6 E
1014a E6 E
1028a E6 E

I thought it was odd that it only had a single e/6 at the bottom of the stock lug.

I actually meant on the right side of the receiver, but you are also correct, finding no marking makes me think its a replacement frame. 2 is the most common, but I have seen / heard of a few only having one.

It sure looks like it was all "born together" on close examination. The fonts on the SN top and bottom match up nicely. But, I wasn't there when it was built, so who really knows?

You didn't find that in Alaska did you ?

gunbugs 12-03-2022 03:14 PM

No. It came out of Florida. A Gunbonker auction. It was mislisted as a "Simons" luger....

Nice, Most Lugers here are few and far between. I've only ever purchased one locally and he was a super nice older fellow. I look for him at all the shows now
