I passed on this one because of the "pinged out" acceptance marks, they look kinda deep to polish out. <img src="graemlins/oops.gif" border="0" alt="[oops]" />

I know that Nazi markings are sometimes "peened" out (my Yugo K98s), but who and why would peen out German Imperial markings on a 1916 Luger? Did the Russians tend to do this? (Crossed "rifles" on piece).
