Navy Commemorative Luger help!!!

All,
I need some help. I am looking to try and figure out how much my luger is worth. It was made by Mauser in 78. Only 100 were sent to the US and only 250 were made world wide!!

I am going to attach some links so you guys can see the gun, its markings, and docs. Please feel free to tell me what you think... ps I have all of the docs and certs for the gun. Sorry about the large image sizes.

thanks
mike

Mike, it is probably because the resolution is high, and because the images were larger and png files.

Was trying to help, and hey, nice looking gun too :)

You should try the "undocumented" thumbnail feature Ed...

just post he graphic normally, then edit the post and covert the IMG and /IMG tags to be

thumb and /thumb tags (with square brackets around them of course)

They will automatically be thumbnailed and the full photo is available by clicking on the picture...

mcausey,
I like your Navy a lot; I have one also and had Jerry Burney make a pigskin holster and magazine pouch to accompany it. Together they represent the epitome in quality craftsmanship.

John, I've used the thumb several times, but Mike had the pictures saved at his own website, so I downloaded them, shrunk them, reposted them, and by that time, I just reposted them using this forum.

He originally had them like, 22 inches across, so I wanted to make them small enough to view mostly on one screen, that is why I brought them over here and why I didn't just thumb his pictures.

Very beautiful mike.
I am a big fan of Commemorative Luger. I have in my collection a rare LP08 in .30 Luger, a Bulgarian and a one of a kind P08 with fat barrel in .30 Luger. I am very proud of my commemorative.

Ciao

Mauro,

Not sure if you saw this 1902 Cartridge counter Mauser luger for sale or not :

http://www.gunsamerica.com/guns/976381830.htm

I believe the seller is a LF member named Leon Y.; who showed us some of his really nice Russian lugers a few weeks back...

Regards,

Pete... <img border="0" alt="[typing]" title="" src="graemlins/yltype.gif" />
