Were they issued to any other models? Eric

There were other Commercial 9 mm guns pre-WWI, so I wouldn't be surprised. I'd consult the three volume Sturgess & Gortz...or Ron Wood.

The fat barrel would be noted on the Cartridge Counters, American Eagle, and commercial. I think some early Swiss guns may be fat barrel also.

There are four short-frame Old Model 9mm reported in the Commercial database; all are questionable.

I think Eric is talking about the Cal. 9m/m magazines. They were available at least through 1913; the 1913-1914 MANUFRANCE catalog lists them specifically for French franc FF5.25 (the standard magazine was FF5).

Recently identified 2 fat barrels with the same serial number. Not a good sign either :)

I keep a list of 1902 Cartridge Counter fat barrels and there a two duplicate serial numbers reported and a possible third one. I have personally seen both of one of the duplicates (and I know which one is original!).
