As usual, photos are always a challenge for our fine Navy Moderator... We were supposed to get together last week to resolve his upload issues, but we couldn't get our work schedules to coincide... He is out of town this week, but NEXT week we are supposed to make another attempt at a PC configuration check and solve his upload 'firewall' problems...

Maybe we can get that fixed, before the photo shoot of the new acquisition... if not, he can email the photos to John D or me and we will make sure all get a chance to see them. :)

I'll Photoshop the hell out'ta them - just to be sure my P-Code and S codes are seen in better condition... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[hiha]" title="" src="graemlins/roflmao.gif" />

Hey! I thought that TomA was a navy guy? When has he had the money to branch over to Kregs? Business must be good. Pretty soon he will be as good as Pete.

:D :p

The anchor thingee is the key...
Seriously, I like a challenge and I am within sight of completing the Navy collection, so I gotta have some other toy to chase and Kriegs sounded like a good bet..plus a chance to do some additional research.
FWIW, I was attached to the Luftwaffe for 3 months waaaay back in the '70's.

Navy Lugers are a piece of cake compared to Kriegs in that arena.... The trail leads in many directions - and 99.9% of Krieg collectors can't get past Mr. Gibson's excellent research... Let me know what countries you do research in - and I'll tell you if you are on the right trail, or following one of the cold leads that lead no where. Here is a hint, though....

Can you speak Polish or Russian?

Big Norm 02-24-2004 10:51 PM

John D.,
I don't trust the Polish. I once had a Polish lady try to tell me that the Polish people didn't invent the polka. Whats next? Are they going to try to tell me that the Polish didn't invent the accordian?

Where did THAT post come from??!!!! I can't believe I missed it until now...!!!!!!!!!!!

John D. 03-16-2004 09:16 PM

Which reminds me......

TOM - you could have sent those Kriegs up to me - and I could have posted pictures for you by now - AND told you how they shoot....!!!??? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" />

At least tell us which variations of the P & S you got - and please describe in full detail..!!!

OR - PLEASE - post pictures!!!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />

Guys,

Am very busy at the moment, so pix will have to wait...but I have made a deal to acquire Khoff SN 170 as pictured in Gibson. Nice gun, but a tad pricey.
