Pigskin Navy Double Mag. Pouch
This is the culmination of my Imperial Navy Luger Holster project. I was waiting on the excellent and beautiful Navy magazine bottoms to arrive from the consumate craftsman, G.T. out of Phoenix, AZ. He was kind enough not only to craft these for my 1917 Navy Rig but also to fit them to magazine bodies I sent to him. I have tried to fit these myself and this procedure is definately best left to the professionals! The color and finish of these magazine bottoms is as good or better than originals. I feel they are the icing on this particular cake and am extremely pleased with G.T.'s skill. Enjoy! Jerry Burney

Jerry, great looking mag. pouch!! Nice looking magazines too!! Strange how that works, but I have a magazine that looks just like yours from GT, one of the Ultimate Craftsman!!!

It isn't often we get to admire the work of TWO skilled masters but this is one of those times. The pouch AND the mag bases are beautifully crafted. I don't have the skills to fashion leather or wood into something like shown but I can appreciate the work and talent it takes to make them. Great job Jerry and G.T.! <img src="graemlins/jumper.gif" border="0" alt="[jumper]" />

Frank, Daubs, Thanks for the kind words. It's a kick to make something like this when it all comes together. I do appreciate your input, Jerry Burney

Jerry's work speaks for itself, for the quality is obvious. But I wish you boys would start bad-mouthing him a bit, though, so I can have something with which to leverage a bargaining position on a holster.

Pack & Go with her Jerry...
Any woman who is as understanding as Ellie is about your Lugers and leather shouldn't be left alone for any length of time... She's a keeper! |
John, When your right, your right. I would be as lost as a new kitten outside the cardboard box with out her. I sew holsters, she does the rest...and you know what they say about Women, can't live with them, can't shoot em...Jerry Burney
