I think this seller is a little confused, probably was thinking Luger and typed Mauser. What makes you think that Mauser made Lugers? You should know by now that they were made by a completely different company that just happened to have the same name.

Hey Herb and Russ...!

Hey John D.,

Did you know that people that collect WWII Army Loogers are called Mouser Misers?

:D

And - oh - based on that definition, thank goodness I only collect the Anker Loogers from the Navel Ground forces based in the Sahara...

Steamed John D,

Them Loogers with the anker-thingee were also used by Kreigsmarine SEALS who were secretely inserted into an Indo-Chinese country via a clandestine amphibious swift boat operation.

I am told that this is *seared, seared* into their memories and while they were there they spent a great deal of the mission down-loading highly nuanced e-mails from the internet into their wireless-enabled IBM Selectric compooters.

Afterwards, each was given a commerative tin-foil beret and a chrome plated desk organizer that would send parapsychic reminders to get their flight physicals, which, if you think about it makes sense. But I'd Rather not.
