Any opinions on the 1942 com. banr in classifieds?
 

Hi Guys,

What do you think about the 1942 commercial banner in the classified section? Seems kinda high price but a very nice piece. Question for the experts here, think this is worth the bucks?

Without more info, it is almost impossible to value that piece. It is apparently a police pistol judging from the police style holster but it is impossible to be certain since the pic is so small.


Additional info needed would be if the magazine matched, what proofing was present, (Some markings are much scarcer than others and therefore more highly sought by collectors) and a much better pic of the gun to determine finish.


FWIW, I bought a Mauser police banner with matching SN holster, two matching SN mags and a Matching SN tool, all in 99.9% condition complete with the capture papers two years ago for $3000.
