Questions About Selling SN 3249

3 Attachment(s)
Well, after approx. a year-and-a-half, SN 3249 is seriously for sale (see my post as "jackthrock," dated 05-20-2008). The gun/rig has been properly stored and unfired since that time. Nothing has changed (except my waistline).

1.Should I get an appraisal? From (who/where)?
2. Is there a member in the South Florida region who could/would be willing to examine this pistol (for a fee, of course!)?
3. Any suggestions as to how/where to advertise?

Have included some photos of the holster and the (different/non-matching SN) magazines. Thanks in advance for any input/suggestions.

Best Regards,
Jack

Mag serial 10471

I see that one of the mags is serial 10471. I have a 1940 Krieg serial 10475 without a magazine. Whom ever purchases this pistol I sure would like a shot at obtaining the mag. Not a match but really close.:jumper:

The best appraisal is the one you make yourself. Search the auction results at RIA, James D. Julia, and Hermann Historica, comparing your pistol to their photos. Use a magnifying glass and a bright flashlight to examine and authenticate the finish on your Luger. Take many high resolution photos outdoors in indirect sunlight. Post the gun on Gunbroker.com with an appropriate reserve. Respond to all questions and requests from potential bidders promptly and courteously. Doubtless I am far from alone in being willing and able to bid on your Krieghoff.
