Book on Ebay

Right now the price is well worth it but it'll undoubtedly go up but how high? I recall someone wanting a copy, this might be the chance.

Hi Herb,

I won a copy of Gibson's "The Krieghoff Parabellum" on eBay back in May for $50.00 plus shipping.

Expected to pay a lot more but was pleasently surprised and I was the only bidder.

Regards,

Mike:)

Mike, you got really lucky, I did a search on my favorite bookfinder and found two of them, one for $149.95 and the other was $150. I think I paid $75 for mine about a year ago. It's probably the most in-depth reference on a particular model that I have seen, great photos and descriptions plus a lot of corresponding photos of other makers models. I don't have, nor can I afford, a Krieg but I can afford to increase my library.

How about $ 60 at the Simpson LTD shop...? Last time I visited the shop 4 weeks ago...the books appeared new.

Hi Herb,
Yeah, I felt the same way.
There has been one on Gunbroker.com for quite a while. $160 with no reserve or buy it now for $200.00. Of course it is a copy signed by the author.

I think they are -all- signed by the author.

" Number 1425 of a limited First Edition of 1500 copies"
(scrawl) Randall Gibson

Hi Dwight,

Maybe the first edition one's (1980) were all signed.
Mine is a second edition dated 1988 and not signed.
The one on Gunbroker is a signed second edition.
No disrespect meant to Mr. Gibson but I wouldn't really be interested in paying an extra $110.00 for his autograph if you know what I mean.:roflmao:

Regards,

Mike:)
