He also added that "They also have one of the very few Jurek .22 pistols in existance down the page...still 'alive'.....mine was serial number 2 and is now destroyed." for anyone who might be interested.

Good Luck to whoever get this fine pistol imported before it is too late.

John,
That converts to $6247.51. Really a good price for this Luger. That is out of my "collecting league", but someone should jump at the chance. Why will it be destoryed? He seems to have several Lugers for sale. Why this one?

Not sure of the laws in the UK, but I know that Terry had much of his collection confiscated and destroyed. And the warning was his... Perhaps there is an "aging" law that only allows dealers of live firearms to keep them for only so long before they must fall under the stringent gun laws ax... I cry every time I recall all the precious firearms that Terry once owned that were melted down...

I also guess that the other Lugers available are not all that rare... even if they are Lugers... the number of KH's is minute in comparison of the byf's produced... and I agree... a great price for this KH...even with the importation costs to be added.

Darn Politicians... Make sure you all VOTE tomorrow and elect conservative replacements for these liberals now in office!

REALLY BAD NEWS... I just got an update from Terry...

Quote:

Too late - it's been de-acted.

I got called about twenty minutes ago.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
They should take the politicians who created the gun laws in the UK and.....KICK their BUTTS... another historic firearm relegated to being a wall hanger... DARN!

(Deactivated - See Terry's album in the old Members Gallery to see how they butcher fine Luger pistols in the UK since the confiscation of live firearms was established there... a real tragedy!

http://forum.lugerforum.com/gallery2...g2_itemId=6021 )

...and what is even worse is they will now charge even MORE for this pistol to pay for the government mandated de-activation services!

Too Late

I'd have saved it. Some may remember the S code 'found' in the UK 2 years ago that I bought & had delivered a couple of miles to Jersey (Channel Islands). A little bit of paperwork & it was saved from destruction.
Jersey's Firearm's Law permits pistols & semi's. We're just off France, see map below.

A KH pair both made in 1936 would have been great in my collection.

ah, it breaks the heart! Horrible act of barbarism!

Last time I checked Sarah Brady was a "Conservative".

Haven't seen any "Commies"since 1971.

They sure as Hell don't look anything like "Americans" who happen to be Liberal.

And I haven't seen anyone subverting the Constitution since Cheney left office.

This is / was a thread about gun laws in the UK. Not the Tea Party Soap Box.

sorry ron. that was not my intent. destroying historical and collectable firearms is an unforgivable thing. But Like it or not WE may in for the same types of laws if we are not careful.
