E/M 1939 Holster... Need info

Picked this up yesterday. Decent Navy holster, and not sure on value? Also, the front is pretty dirty and wonder how to remove grime. I normally leave the leather as is, but this one has surface dirt that should be removed IMO... TIA.

ps/ Came with a dandy 1938 s/42 that's 95%

Bob, A little not too wet saddle soap and a soft toothbrush for the crevices, dry. Do not rub the stitching lines with wet saddle soap. It will fray them. Polish with a dry cotton cloth. Do it a little an do it again if necessary. Not toomuch at once. Jerry Burney

Thanks Jerry... so, no Pecards etc... The leather is a tad stiff but clearly I don't want to ruin this one and soak it heavy with anything...

I prefer Connoly's hide food. I have seen too many Pecard's holsters that were a gooey waxy mess. I guess used sparingly Pecards would be alright. I don't like it though and would never put any on my holsters.
