My aim is to provide you a one place where you can have access to all available sites dealing with our favorite weapon. I'll post any resource that I find interesting and something you might like. A human luger search engine! Thirty years ago I was taught how to research an issue in the basement of Villanova University law library. I'm am very good at it. If you have a topic that you would like to find out more, I will help with your issue or where to begin your search. Just PM me! What took hours or days is no more. The internet has changed our concept of research. LUGERS are my favorite search! You can decide what is fact or fiction! The only problem is that they can change every day! ~Eric~ YOU CAN RETURN AFTER OPENING ANY SITE BY HITTING THE "Pistole Parabellum' ABOVE

The Great Berlin Candy Drop~
In 1961 the Russians cut of access to west Berlin. We went to the rescue by parachuting food and supplies. The pilots noticed hourds of children from bombed out Berlin gathering at the end of the runways. One man had the idea of dropping small parachutes with candy. The Berlin children went crazy. I implore you to take a moment to watch the presentation with Tom Brocow, the original pilot and the Morman Tabernacle choir~The ending will bring a tear to your eyes. Proud to be American! http://www.youtube.com/embed/_vR2wgq0ZMc Originaly sent to me from George Anderson~

This is the reason I love them. This one pretty purchased from George Anderson. He provides the finest Historys~~
|
I love everything about them. This is especially true in tracking their individual historys. Often It puts a face and story to a luger whose owners had probobly as much excitement that is lacking from all other.firearms. My research At Villanova Law School Law School 1978-1981 provides me the thirst to find out more! Thank for all you friendship and patience. Since my stoke my short term memory is shot but long term fabulous~ Eric

I agree with some posts but the one above with the name on the grip was fully researched by George Anderson, my hero including the name of its previous owner contained in his precise narrative I have posted below! I know when and where he died including the obituary . In his narrative he describes it flawlessly. I wish I had history like that on all of my pretties! Please tell me what more I can possibly provide. Most lugers only have what on its' face and a serial # ie maker sometimes, years and better yet a unit marking from which you can try to trace back. I always post everything I have at that time and amend later if I discover more relevent information~~~ I real appreciate your continued support! Tks Eric
