Luger Test #2

Is This Saturday morning (24st) 10 AM MST better for most people, or is This Friday night 9PM MST (23rd)? Let me know! Trying to have as many people participate as possible and I have only gotten three replies this week! THANKS!!!! Ted

Ted,

Either of these times would work for me. Does Patrick (in Germany) agree with these times? We need to make sure that our European members have a good shot at the test.

Re: Luger Test #2

Patrick has been apprised of both times and has not to worry about it, he will try and make them! I am leaning towards the Friday night one as it may promote more participation because of the non conflict with weekend gun shows. But based on the replies there may be only a couple people as there doesnt seem to be much interest! Pity

I'm interested! What time is 10.00 a.m MST? Is that 12:00 EST? I can get so confused!

Sounds good to me! I think everyone's looking forward to it. I am. I think everyone enjoyed the first one and participated fairly well, don't you think?

Re: Luger Test #2

Not really, I had fun, but only two people turned in answers with the time frame, which was 30 minutes. It still was a kick, but two people out of all the posters was not that many. Some people had "gun show" "duty" as I WELL understand. That is why I am considering Friday night as an alternate time! This test will be the same number of questions and 45 minutes to post response, more fun, less stress! Ted

I still haven´t found out whether we´re six hours later or eighteen earlier. Patrick

Re: Luger Test #2

10 am Saturday MST was around 6 pm Saturday for you as I remember it. So you were 6 hours a head of EST in the US

Dok 02-19-2001 02:15 PM

PATRICK...

I asked you to send me the number of hours your were ahead of GMT... we can work it out from that!

Patrick 02-21-2001 04:19 AM

Re: PATRICK...

Doc, my old Mac had a globe with the time zones - but I can´t find it on my new Mac.Patrick

Re: PATRICK...

Re: Time Zones

Time of Test #2(tentative will be 9pm Friday night, your website confirms that as 5 am Berlin Time SATURDAY morning)

Sorry about that Patrick, that also makes all those old guys on our East Coast stay up until 11pm Friday night! Ted

Re: Time Zones

NO NO NO PATRICK...

You cannot be SIX hours ahead of GMT! Forget your Mac... let's try another way... if it's midnight in London, what time is it in Berlin. I think it will be 1:00am, so that would be 1 hour ahead of GMT.

Dok 02-21-2001 03:27 PM

And what about me???

It'll be midnight for me! Have you no mercy??? But Ted is correct about the time for Patrick, it will be 5:00am.

Ted 02-21-2001 03:42 PM

Re: And what about me???

I still am awaiting final responses from Frank Manders and John D! They both said, check back with me! I think it is time to set the time guys! Hugh, I hope you took your books to the "rig" (no not the holster/Takedown/mag type either) with you and you got your lap top warmed up! Ted

John D. 02-21-2001 04:07 PM

I'd answer - but so far.....

I have *absolutely* no idea what time test #2 is any longer..?? Based on this thread - it sure appears that Patrick will be taking it for days *before* and *after* the rest of us - as his time-zone seems to keep shifting

Sooo - sure, - *if* I can figure out the local time for the test; and *if* it's not 3:00 AM EST (us old folks on the East Coast need our rest) - then count me in..!!! It should be fun..!!!

All times are GMT -4. The time now is 04:40 AM.
