Artillery Lugers
4 Attachment(s)
All of these pistols were found on the Island of Jersey, 4 were were used here during the German Occupation and one of them was a WW.I bringback and was buried throughout the Occupation and retrieved from its hiding place in late 45. This one has some wear too it but it came for free so no complaints from me there.

Do any of them have grip strap markings?

Unfortunately not.

That nicely ties in with the story that WW1 artilleries were kept from the watchful eye of the Inter Allied Control Commission following WW1. While many navy lugers were destroyed or converted to 4" barrels, a secret stash of artilleries was kept and transferred to the navy later on.

While not common, LP08s were used during the Third Reich.
