Sarco's New LP-08 Wooden Stock and Holster

Greetings to all of my friends!!

Sarco has just started selling a new product. It is a recreation of the early, experimental, LP-08 (Artillery) stock that is similar to an original C-96 (Broom Handel) Mauser stock in the fact that the Luger actually fits inside the Stock.

I called Sarco today, and they had very limited information on this Stock, Holster combination, even though they are asking $295.00 for the set. They didn't even know where it was manufactured, or by whom.

I realize that it is very early to ask, but if anyone has or possibly will see one of these, I'd appreciate some feedback on their quality.

Actually, their regular line of reproduction holsters are an outstanding value, for the money.

Thanks again!!

Sieger

I don not know the answer to your question. But if you check Royal Tiger Imports, I believe they are selling the same 1913 prototype holster, at only $199.00 I bought one of their C96 holster/stocks and they told me it was made in Pakistan. IMO the Pakistan made holster was much better than all the Chinese made ones currently being imported. The 1913 holster/stock and C96 holster stock look to be the same quality to me, so maybe Pakistan made? Email Royal Tiger Imports and they can tell where their holster is from. Attached are pics of Pakistan C96 holster/stock. C96 fits inside, but attaching iron is a loose fit, FYI.

Thanks!

I will certainly follow up per your suggestion!

By the way, the wood grain on their C-96 Holster Stock is quite nice!!

Interesting offering by Sarco. But, given the price and reputation repos , I'd be concerned about the quality and fit of the hardware. Did anyone buy one that can provide a report?

The original attaching iron of the C-96 is on the loose side too.
