Problems with the Jan Still Forum
 

Anyone else having problems? I can log in and get the home page and see new post headers but..........Cannot open them? A error page comes up. I am having no problems with dozens of other forums?

Got same problem this morning.

They were having DB error problems over on the gun boards forum also earlier this week that got resolved yesterday. Since they both share a server they could have the same problem.

Thanks everyone! I was having Luger forum withdrawal symptoms . All better now! It is up and running for me now.

I have been traveling, so I just found out this was happening, but the data administration is done by the company and I do the personnel administration

Well today, it will not let me view on one browser but will on another. On Firefox it will let me view a few times and then not.

I think it is an intermittant problem that they haven't gotten stabilized yet. Sometimes I can get in and sometimes I can't.

Working normally for my account.

But, I don't visit that one very often.

It's down with Database Error again for me right now, 07:34pm, but there are several posts made between 3:00pm and 4:00pm today...

Odd that no one over there seems to have noticed and posted about it... :confused:

Heh...Spacecoast posted a thread about the downtime, but I can't read the responses because the site is down again!!! :soapbox:

yes, the spastic problems and now down time can be frustrating. I am rarely over at that forum, but as luck has it, I have a deal pending and unsure if that may cause email communication problems. :mad:

Depending on site security some gun pages get hacked... there are people who don't like us or and form of firearm .... I have been a member of at least one forum that suffered a database breach the site was reconstituted but some data was lost that had not yet been backed up..... it's possible that this may have been the issue with that forum.....

Was up again a while last evening, but down again this morning. Seems to be a pattern, with the outages growing longer.
