Boy it just goes from BAD to WORSE...
 

I lost my father on February 26, and my mother (87) died today, three weeks later. She fell and broke her hip on Tuesday, they operated on Wednesday to repair the hip and she came the the operation with flying colours. Thursday she was fine, but by Friday she had started to slip, and slid steadily downhill until today at about 2:45pm local time. So you'll forgive my absence over the next week and if I'm tardy in answering your emails, things will return to normal I promise.

Wait two weeks and look back. It won't be so bad then. But at least its over for them and I'm sure you will always have within you something from them that can never be taken away.

I lost my grandparents on my father's side within a week of each other in 1994. My parents died three months apart in 1999 and 2000, and my grandmother on my mother's side died last month. I understand that this is a tough time for you and give my condolences.

I feel with you. It is very hard to get both parents lost. I hope, that your life becomes normal, maybe we could help you a little bit on the forum.

Very sorry to hear that DOK. My prayers and condolences. I have heard of this happening in situations in which someone you love dies and than the spouse follows very closely after them. It by any means doesn't make it any easier but it's a pretty good explaination, for people dying of a "broken Heart"
