Luger Test #2

Is This Saturday morning (24st) 10 AM MST better for most people, or is This Friday night 9PM MST (23rd)? Let me know! Trying to have as many people participate as possible and I have only gotten three replies this week! THANKS!!!! Ted

Re: Luger Test #2

Ted,

Either of these times would work for me. Does Patrick (in Germany) agree with these times? We need to make sure that our European members have a good shot at the test.

Re: Luger Test #2

Patrick has been apprised of both times and has not to worry about it, he will try and make them! I am leaning towards the Friday night one as it may promote more participation because of the non conflict with weekend gun shows. But based on the replies there may be only a couple people as there doesnt seem to be much interest! Pity

I'm interested! What time is 10.00 a.m MST? Is that 12:00 EST? I can get so confused!

Re: Luger Test #2

Sounds good to me! I think everyone's looking forward to it. I am. I think everyone enjoyed the first one and participated fairly well, don't you think?

Re: Luger Test #2

Not really, I had fun, but only two people turned in answers with the time frame, which was 30 minutes. It still was a kick, but two people out of all the posters was not that many. Some people had "gun show" "duty" as I WELL understand. That is why I am considering Friday night as an alternate time! This test will be the same number of questions and 45 minutes to post response, more fun, less stress! Ted

Re: Luger Test #2

I still haven´t found out whether we´re six hours later or eighteen earlier. Patrick

It is 11:15 am Monday Morning in ALBUQUERQUE NM right now

(see posted time)

Re: Luger Test #2

10 am Saturday MST was around 6 pm Saturday for you as I remember it. So you were 6 hours a head of EST in the US

Dok 02-19-2001 03:15 PM

PATRICK...

I asked you to send me the number of hours your were ahead of GMT... we can work it out from that!

Patrick 02-21-2001 05:19 AM

Re: PATRICK...

Doc, my old Mac had a globe with the time zones - but I can´t find it on my new Mac.Patrick

Patrick 02-21-2001 09:38 AM

Re: PATRICK...

OK! I´m six hours ahead. Patrick

BobL 02-21-2001 12:24 PM

Re: Time Zones

Time of Test #2(tentative will be 9pm Friday night, your website confirms that as 5 am Berlin Time SATURDAY morning)

Sorry about that Patrick, that also makes all those old guys on our East Coast stay up until 11pm Friday night! Ted

Marvin 02-21-2001 02:59 PM

Re: Time Zones

Ted,

The time is good for me. I don't go to bed until 9:15PM, Right.

Dok 02-21-2001 04:24 PM

NO NO NO PATRICK...

You cannot be SIX hours ahead of GMT! Forget your Mac... let's try another way... if it's midnight in London, what time is it in Berlin. I think it will be 1:00am, so that would be 1 hour ahead of GMT.

Dok 02-21-2001 04:27 PM

And what about me???

It'll be midnight for me! Have you no mercy??? But Ted is correct about the time for Patrick, it will be 5:00am.

Ted 02-21-2001 04:42 PM

Re: And what about me???

I still am awaiting final responses from Frank Manders and John D! They both said, check back with me! I think it is time to set the time guys! Hugh, I hope you took your books to the "rig" (no not the holster/Takedown/mag type either) with you and you got your lap top warmed up! Ted

John D. 02-21-2001 05:07 PM

I'd answer - but so far.....

I have *absolutely* no idea what time test #2 is any longer..?? Based on this thread - it sure appears that Patrick will be taking it for days *before* and *after* the rest of us - as his time-zone seems to keep shifting

Sooo - sure, - *if* I can figure out the local time for the test; and *if* it's not 3:00 AM EST (us old folks on the East Coast need our rest) - then count me in..!!! It should be fun..!!!

Patrick 02-21-2001 05:14 PM

5 AM!

5 am on Saturday morning doesn´t sound all that inviting. If I´m at home and sober, I promise to get up and do the test. Patrick

Ted 02-21-2001 05:23 PM

Re: 5 AM!

Sorry Patrick, shame we live a world away! John D that is 11 pm Friday night for you! Ted

John D. 02-21-2001 05:26 PM

Re: 5 AM! - that's 11PM MY time!!!

Sheesh Patrick - I think I figured out how they *narrow* down the winners..!!!!

Next test - Patrick and I decide the times the test will be given...

(By the way - how long do we have to take this test??? - Do Patrick and I have time to e-mail each other and compare, ummm - "notes"???:-)

Ted 02-21-2001 05:49 PM

Re: 5 AM! - that's 11PM MY time!!!

If you can find a better time fine! Including Patrick and trying to miss the weekend gun shows makes it tough! Saturday at 10 am was good for everybody that could make it but many were at at gun shows. John, there is NOT a good solution, we cant do it during the morning hours of the week cause most of us have to work for a living! Givemeabreak! Ted

Ted 02-21-2001 05:53 PM

Re: 5 AM! - that's 11PM MY time!!!

The information has been posted TWICE already! But if you want to play it is 20 questions worth 1 point each, 1 bonus question worth 5 points and 45 minutes to answer.(that is dated by email time and date (no cheating)) Answer is by email.

John D. 02-21-2001 05:58 PM

Now Ted....

Don't git yer boxers in a bundle - I'm jest jesting with'ya

BTW: Want to send me the test tomorrow so I can see how long it will take me to finish on Friday night??? Heh, heh, heh.....

Ted 02-21-2001 06:12 PM

Re: Now Ted....

I can send you a test, not the right one, but a test! TEST THHIS!!!! just jesting ye!

Patrick 02-22-2001 05:30 AM

Re: 5 AM! - that's 11PM MY time!!!

John D. Acoording to my reckoning, at least one of us - if not both - have eighteen hours for the test.Patrick
