Joop's collection is incredible. Don't miss viewing this catalog of his collection.

BogeyB 03-09-2016 08:25 PM

A question..why is Mr. van de Kant selling his collection? Has something happened to him??

Mike:confused:

Alas, health problem for my friend Joop.

alvin 03-10-2016 03:16 AM

I bet that "Mauser" marked helmet in flyer will sell much much higher than estimation. It's a very rare item.

BogeyB 03-10-2016 07:47 AM

I'm so sorry to here that. I hope a speedy recovery for Joop!

I downloaded the flyer, but not many Lugers. 50 Euros for the catalog seems excessive... :(

Don't know what the catalog contains but the site says that it consists of 340 pages. That's a bunch of pages so I suspect there is a fair amount of neat information.

Mac Cat 03-10-2016 12:30 PM

I wonder if they'd allow us to post a few of the pages here ?

Kri 1942 03-11-2016 02:33 AM

There will be a few hundred Luger, holsters, accessories, magazines, books ...

But... Are the weapons operational or demiled? Can they be imported into the US, as many are military? Minimum bids look good, but I'd hate to bid on one and then not be able to ship it here.

Vlim 03-20-2016 06:54 AM

Hi,

All the guns are operational and Hermman-Historica do offer the possibility to ship them to the USA. They will have to be import marked, I guess?
Joop actually bought many of them in the USA and imported them into Belgium.

Edward Tinker 03-20-2016 08:05 AM

Please read the regulations from the BATF. You can buy a piece (one?) and it does nto need to be import marked, many and it will need tp go through an importer.

Some items are in the USA (states that on the website), I am not sure which ones are or how.

I have been to Joops house, along with Vlim, its an amazing collection.
