The old scamster is at it again. Got an email from him with the usual text. Steer clear of this well known and pretty well documented scammer.

I also have some German Insignia/Medals from WWI and WWII and a few German helmets from WWI and WWII in a good condition. There are also German daggers. I have also a few bayonets and swords for sale: japanese arisaka, and three french bayonets: Chassepot, Grass and Lebel. I would like to sell them for a reasonable price. I also have a japanese swords (katana and tanto) with the blade from XVIII century. If you could have an interest, let me know.

During this economical crisis I have been hunkered down in the woods of West Tennesse and burning wood on these cold winter days to save on the high cost of electricity. I hope my bailout money arrives soon. I will stay hunkered down until the money arrives or things get better with the new administration. I am buying nothing but necessities, no lottery tickets but always toilet paper and paper towels. Maybe those would be a good investment in the stock market. From my investigations and confirmations, the owner of this account is a foreigner by name of Mr. Gerald Stone who died on the 4th of January 2002 in a planecrash in Birmingham here in the UK.

Just another variation of the Nigerian money scams. Enough people caught onto these letters so they have moved shop to places like England, which affords a certain amount of up-front respectability.
If you bite, they will ask you for your baniking information including routing numbers, etc and they will clean you out of anything you have in this account.
There is a hilarious site on the net called something like "scam baiter" where he strings these people along, getting them to do silly or outrageous things since they think they've caught a live one.
Delete this at once and do not respond in any way.

All...... to show you how far this guy will go to con you out your money....... He either knows someone at the post office, has gotten hold of some blank receipts, or sent an empty shipment. I told him the day before I was cancelling my bank transfer after seeing his " rap sheet " on WA. He still sent this " shipping document " and said he had sent the shipment and for me to show good faith, send at least 1/2 of the money. Man, what a con artist ! I have a good friend who's a detective in Grimbergen who warned me early enough for me to cancel the money. [EDITED BY ADMIN FOR UNACCEPTABLE CONTENT]....... Buy from those who you know ! We should not lose confidence on the web simply because a "Pawel Nowak" jumping out. Back a few weeks ago, I was selling a CZ-52. A pawn store guy called in asked "Are you running a business? How can I trust you? What if I send you $205 but you won't send me the gun?" .... excellent caution and excellent question to ask, but .... say, running a pawn store is not easy, I could understand why he was so cautious for $205, but I don't have an good answer.

Her's a picture the jerk sent me of himself. He thinks because he sits in a foreign country he immune to prosecution. All anyone has to do is file charges on him through Interpol. They will go after himif you have irrefutable evidence. Myky

I've seen several pictures supposedly of this guy, Mike there has been warnings on both Jan's site and this one and the P38 for for about 3 years or more.


Please modify your statement about polish and germans, or I will.

OK Ed........ I will modify my statement about Poles ( the ones like Pawel Nowak ) in today's time they need to be locked up in jail for thier crimes of fraud....... that was the meaning of my remark, that's all....... Us collectors don't need them running around a fleecing us and them thinking they can get away with it. Have you read the threads about him in Wehrmacht Awards and what he did to Jamie Cross ? It just makes me hot that he can do this with apparent immunity, and I'm sure I'm not the only one..... sorry dude........

I think a back of a building whooping and maybe a shot to his kneecaps might encourage him to be a better human....

Since he supposedly sent the items, I do not see how he could recall them through the postal service. So if they show up, you are one of the fortunate ones that didn't get scammed and you owe him the payment, but I will be real surprised if you end up paying. Good luck. and I am glad you got tipped off in time, it probably saved you some bucks.

On another note, the "camps" comment is not worthy of you, you are a better person than that. We all have to be aware of the consequences of a casual remark...absolutely nothing justifies the actions of Nazi Germany.
