Just a Mauser byf Luger on which someone has installed a 16 inch barrel... nothing to get excited about, and certainly not anything to do with the Navy...

But it might have some potential as an anchor, John.

Ron Wood 10-19-2006 05:49 PM

Classy stove poker.

Pete Ebbink 10-19-2006 05:55 PM

Guys,

"byf" on this one probably is a "bruising your finger" warning to any shooter :D

the gunman 10-19-2006 06:21 PM

looks like it might have a navy magazine in it.

craig16134 10-19-2006 07:02 PM

For $400.00 or so bucks, I think It could be made into a shooter at least.

I think I might bid on It, I only live 45 miles from thier shop.

Dwight Gruber 10-19-2006 08:07 PM

Black plastic mag base. Probably a Mec Gar. Very good for shooting.

ahhh, a navy luger without the stock and forearm. I am glad you pointed this out, I have printed this and put the auction pages in my copy of Third Reich Lugers. I will call Jan later and ask him why this variation wasn't covered in his book ;)

I really want to see the holster for this one. Kinda like it, although I wonder if the round can make it out of the barrel without a road map and an overnight stay.

lugerluser 10-19-2006 10:38 PM

Perfect for concealed carry!! You can save on ammo cost, just beat them with it! Sean......

Ron Smith 10-19-2006 10:43 PM

It would be great for duck hunting. If you miss, you could pistol whip 'em.

Parabellus 10-19-2006 11:52 PM

I'd give him $400 for it but I don't think I could hide it from my wife. She already thinks I'm crazy. This would remove all doubt, especially since I called her in to read your comments.

Thanks guys. Now I don't feel so bad about being out bid.

Steinar 10-20-2006 05:36 AM

Think there was a clown in the movie 'Mask' who had a loooong gun in his pockets (or was it a Batman movie?), perhaps same clown only a different gun.. Clearly nothing to do with Navy Lugers.

Wonder how it would be to shot with, and if it jams or not. Quite a bit of mass that has to go back to make the toggle cycle.

Pete Ebbink 10-20-2006 01:17 PM

Russell,

Tell your wife this one is a rare Luger walking cane ;)

Vlim 10-20-2006 01:53 PM

I think I found a matching holster for it: :D
