Irma has come and gone
Well, I guess we will have to buy the "I survived Irma tee-shirt."
Power and Internet came back on about 30 minutes ago. Lost both Sunday around 5 PM. 100MPH winds. No surge to speak of. No damage to house or boat. Lots of tree branches down but nothing serious. Could have been a lot worse. Lots of praying going on here. Sure paid off. |
WOW!!
Very good to hear :) |
Great but the keys are a mess!I lived on Big Pine and that got the worse. We said a prayer of thanks together. Those hot long gas lines! We take so much for granted until nature kicks our ass! Is there anywhere in our country immune from natural disaster! Maybe Jerrys' house?

2 5500 generators running, hope it doesn't take a week to restore power as Duke energy is forecasting. Time to upgrade to a 12kw I suppose. Hope my fellow Floridians are well.

God Bless!

If you are renting or purchasing a home in Florida, make sure its new and has underground utilities. Debbys' 2 friends don't and are still out! We took the tops off a few of the metal slots for light but not the rest till next month. Now some law, If you lease or rent the cost which was $500 for putting up taking down the responsibility of the owner in Florida and I'm sure everywhere! One happy break!! Eric

We live in Port St Lucie on the east coast, 15 miles east of the ocean and right under Ft Pierce north of West Palm and Jupiter! Part of town still are without power! Those with undergroud lines have power!https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Port_St._Lucie,_Florida
