Rhpd201,
You are correct with the DE/63 but you might want to double check the letter suffix on the Luger. Not many 1937 Lugers with a "c" suffix. --------- I have now seen the pictures of the gun in your other post. The suffix is a "c" but the frame does not match the rest of the Luger. Most likely the frame is of 1938 production. Tom |

Interesting discussion, I HAVE A FEW QUESTIONS.
1.Luger Parabellum - RE: 1937-S/42 SN 2053 No letter suffix? If no strawed parts, it must be all blue. I have never observed an all blue 1937-S/42 without the Mauser hump. Not impossible but certainly not common. 2. Hokie - RE: 1937-S/42 SN 2067v. DE-63 or SE-63 acceptance marks? straw? hump? all blue? 3. N467US - RE: 1937-S/42 9432c I agree with Harpo, although he indicates few 1937-S/42 Lugers in the - c - block, I would suggest there were none. Please confirm the acceptance marks and the letter suffix under the frame serial number. 4. Vollernteer - RE: 1937-S/42 SN 7477r. Straw pistol without a hump or all blue Luger with a Mauser hump. Anybody have any Kriegsmarine WW-11 Lugers with property numbers? |
