I have Wood bottom mag # 613c, and alum bottom with 42 imprint, looking for a mag for my 1910DWM sn 200c. I'm told that the 200 should be marked with 200 on the long axis of the wood bottom.

I have a master magazine list containing 118 pages of Luger magazine numbers, If you guys would like to have your magazines listed and exposed to many Lugers collectors, I will send you some information sheets indicating the information that I need to date the magazine. This system has worked fine for a lot of collectors for over 30 years. If your interested, email me at < drh@oz.net > and I will send the information. Personally, I have found four matches to my Lugers. One magazine was number 451, the second magazine to one of my K-Dates. The idea is to match the "orphan" magazine to the original Luger.
Good Luck |

Hi,
As I said, it's a clear overstamp but here are some images: |
In my opinion the numbers seem too big for a Military Luger, the size of the numbers usually indicate use by the Police. What appears to be a number 2 is in the wrong place. From the pictures it looks like a number 1 above the serial number and partially removed. Mauser numbered very few Military Lugers after the - u - block of 1941.

Looking for Matching Magazine
Hello Forum Members,
I am a new member and this is my first posting.... I recently purchased my first Luger, a Mauser 1937 S/42 7551 t and am looking for the matching magazine(s). I've checked the lists provided by Forum Members and didn't see it in anyone's inventory. What are the chances of locating one or both? Where else would you suggest I look? Thanks, in advance, for your comments. Straight Shooter |
