Ed, wonderful!! You taught us all that patience is a well valued virtue! Thank You my friend!
|
Ed,
I'm sure glad that your patience paid of. |
Ed,
really nice. For those of us interested in the "innards", could you show a picture with the forearm removed? Please. What is the diameter of the barrel at the muzzle? Does it balance well? I'll bet it shoots really softly. |
could you show a picture with the
forearm removed? Excellent idea! While you are dismanteling the forearm..take out one of those very irritating brass screws and send it to me. |
Jerry:
I could use a couple of those new replacement screws for my carbine. thanks Jack |
What screws are we talking about?
|
Jack, Eric, They are the screws in the brass oval of the forearm..On Ed's carbine they are brass and look bad..I am trying to find out their size..Now I need the diameter of the flat head and the length..the diameter of the shaft would be nice too..These screws will not be threaded all the way but will have a short blanc shaft. They must be a good steel and fire blued...All of which I could get IF I knew the size!
I would easily get this off of my own carbine but it is a thousand miles away... |
