Here are my second and current bikes...

My second bike was a 1983 Honda NightHawk 650SC and I waited 33 years before buying it... It was my big "learner" bike... I took the MSF course to refresh my riding and safety knowledge before attempting to ride it on the road... glad I did...
Quite a step up from the first bike... I loved it but it wasn't much of a bike for carrying the wife... very small pillion seat. Sold it to buy my current ride, a 1999 BMW R1100RT. Formerly a California Highway Patrol bike... I removed the rear radio box and installed two-up seating... It currently has 67,000 miles on it and I intend to run it until I no longer feel safe with a bike this heavy... I had always wanted this model bike from the first time I saw one... I am averaging about 10,000 miles a year on it... |

Got this from a buddy at work last year. 1976 XS650. It was sitting in his garage for about 10 years. He was the second owner.
I haven't gotten around to getting it going yet. I'm still (slowly) working on a Honda CJ360T. Nice to see all the bikers here! |
Some nice bikes guys!
I wish I could show off more of my past rides pics but just like missing gun production records that were destroyed during wartime my pictures of my past bikes were destroyed by an ex girlfriend:( |

First rides
I have really enjoyed looking at your past and present rides. I don't have ant photos but my first car was a 1931 Model A ford that I bought used when I was fourteen! ]n the early 50's I rode a Zundapp. I still have a 1996 Honda Goldwing with a sidecar and still ride it on occasions. Bill

One of my other hobbies is sewing machine collecting - I'd *KILL* for a Zundapp sewing machine!

We should start a thread for Motorcycle Anecdotes/Adventures/Stories...Call it "True Lies"... :roflmao:

Here are some of my photos.
The first is my 07 V-Rod and the other two are Mexican Beauties I saw recently: |
Okay... I don't ususally pass on video links, but this is one all the motorcycle and scooter riders have to see. The absolutely worst rider EVER... I think he was on drugs or alcohol... This was passed to me by a member of the "local" club. BMWBMW.org (BMW Bikers of Metropolitan Washington)
make sure you watch it all the way till the end. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=517414514995838 |
Outstanding! It appears everybody just drove away and left our hero to fend for himself.
