What’s the going rate for a shooter artillery Luger these days? It’s A shame really since every part is numbered including grips...

"It’s A shame really since every part is numbered including grips..." Yes it is a shame, but one zit is often all that separates the collectibles from the shooters. And there are several serious issues with that gun, including the Germany stamp, the cut lanyard loop, the questionable numbers, the spotty finish, etc. .
I agree with Don; that needs to be priced as a shooter before I even think of reaching for the wallet. Given that it is an artillery I'd be in somewhere around $1200 IF it shoots well.

A poor way to tighten a loose safety lever. Bill

Hi Patrick,
I always apply the old baseball rule to Luger purchases, "Three strikes and yer out!". This gun has a lot more than three serious issues, if I were you I'd pay a little more and buy a righteous gun.

It seems you are absolutely correct... Pass is the word of the day

"I would pass, due to the monkey business with the numbers on the front of the frame"

Is this even legal to own if the serial number has been altered?

The serial number was most likely altered during export as it was reworked. Their is no other serial on the gun
